Who's MACC?

Greetings! I’m Moises Augusto Carmona Castillo (AKA: MACC), former creative director at Latium Cryptocurrency, with a BBA majoring in graphic design. In 2019, I started my freelance practice, I have been operating as a freelance designer, working with brands across the globe and creating hundreds of digital and print designs.

What is our focus?

Primarily, I focus on designing for startups, specializing in branding, web design, UI/UX design, and visual development. As a professional photographer, I excel in communicating with powerful imagery, emphasizing the importance of quality and meaningful visuals. However, I also understand the significance of clear and simple communication in all aspects of life. In addition to startups, I have experience designing for diverse industries such as cryptocurrencies, hydro energy companies, financial institutions, pharma industry, and many more.

I embrace the philosophy of "Less is More" in my approach to developing graphic artboards. To create visually stunning designs, I include only essential elements necessary for the user to access the desired content without any unnecessary visual distractions or complications.

As a team leader, I possess the skills to effectively collaborate with customers, developers, and users. My ability to actively listen and utilize emotional intelligence allows me to keep projects and ideas on track, while also instilling confidence in my team. I am committed to maintaining self-discipline, thriving under pressure, and efficiently managing my time.

Prototyping

My expertise in utilizing various online platforms, including InVision and Marvel, enables me to create fluid prototypes for testing usability over the internet. Additionally, I can create flowcharts to validate and enhance user performance.

Seamless Communication

As a result of my multilingual parents, I am a native English speaker with proficiency in all language aspects, including writing, reading, and comprehension. I am continuously striving to improve my language skills in the short term. Additionally, I am fluent in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. I am currently learning French and maintain a constant desire to expand my knowledge and learn more each day.

Web & Mobile Development

While not a programmer, I possess a strong understanding of CSS/HTML structures and other web implementations. I am well-versed in the workflow of front and backend developers and continually enhance my comprehension of the platforms they use through regular collaboration.
